Danaher Corporation Key Account Manager - NSW in Lane Cove, Australia
We are looking to hire a highly motivated and strategic Key Account Manager to join our NSW sales team. The Key Account Manager will be responsible for developing strong relationships with the identified strategic accounts. They will develop a deep understanding of the customers strategic goals and structure, align Radiometer’s messaging and solutions to promote growth of the business. In doing so identifying, developing, and engaging key stakeholders across organisations and within the market. In addition, the Key Account Manager will maintain a small sales territory within the region.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Development of effective business relationships with identified key accounts with the aim to cultivate more Radiometer advocates.
Maintain a high-level understanding of key customer contacts, customer structures and operational activities.
Foster stakeholders in areas of the customers business to provide clarity and understanding of Radiometer’s solutions and services.
Leverage Radiometers resources to enable maximum market share and visibility within the market.
Explore innovative opportunities to partner with customers to progress their business goals and maintain Radiometer’s position as a market leader.
Drive growth to meet revenue targets for the agreed region and accounts list.
Creation and execution of account development strategies in line with customers identified focus areas and business needs.
Communication of new service and products to result in increased uptake and revenue growth.
Co-ordinate with New South Wales Field team to drive efficiencies and tailored support options.
Engage with key accounts and stakeholders to deliver key messaging and a clear understanding of Radiometer solutions prior to the customers tender preparation period.
Facilitate the tender submissions and contractual negotiations in conjunction with Regional Sales Manager.
Proactively manage monitoring and reporting on Key performance indicators for existing and new contracts between Radiometer and the key accounts.
Maintain high level of knowledge regarding Radiometer’s existing products and services as to enable business improvement discussions and demonstrations.
Provide clear and actionable feedback to the NSW Field team in alignment of customer requirements and expectations.
Work closely with New South Wales Account Manager to align initiatives, strategies and improved customer satisfaction.
Completing tender responses within the required timeline with “outstanding” responses.
Maintain Radiometer’s high level of customer service both internally and externally.
Represent Radiometer in a professional manner in line with Danaher associate’s code of conduct.
Responsible for Account Management and business development of defined territory.
Consistently achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals for the territory.
Actively identify, pursue and develop new and existing accounts in the territory.
Manage existing accounts, providing support to customers in line with territory business development plans and the Radiometer LIVE customer care program.
Plan and schedule face-to-face account calls to current and potential end-users of Radiometer products throughout the territory.
Visit all key accounts on regular basis in line with established territory management plans and as defined by management, attending to all duties as specified.
Any other duty as may be required
- Tertiary qualifications in Science, Business, Marketing and/or a related field or equivalent proven experience
Knowledge Skills & Experience
Sales and/or Marketing related experience in the healthcare industry for a minimum of 5-10 years.
Experience in key account management or similar roles.
Experienced in dealing with stakeholders across all levels of the hospital and healthcare industry, from laboratory scientists to executive teams.
Experience in Medical Diagnostic industry.
Knowledge and understanding of laboratory practices, with knowledge of Clinical chemistry preferred.
Demonstrated ability to lead, prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Problem solving ability and demonstrated examples of innovative solutions.
A strong communicator with excellent communication, presentation skills and responsive.
Ability to work cohesively and develop internal relationships with fellow associates and cross functional teams.
Demonstrates high levels of computer skills including CRM, data representation and presentations.
Competent user across Microsoft Applications.
Ability to travel, including a valid drivers’ license

Highly developed communication skills, clear and concise in verbal and written communication.
Ability to professionally deliver key messaging via customer presentations.
