The New Company
On September 14, 2022, Danaher announced its intention to separate its Environmental & Applied Solutions segment to create an independent, publicly traded company. The new company will be called Veralto and will be comprised of an outstanding collection of market-leading brands in Danaher's Environmental and Applied Solutions (EAS) segment: Hach, ChemTreat, Trojan, OTT HydroMet, and McCrometer from Danaher's Water Quality Platform and Videojet, Esko, X-Rite Pantone and Linx from the Product Identification Platform.
The EAS segment generated revenue of approximately $4.8 billion in 2022 and has a global team of approximately 16,000 associates. As stewards of the world's most vital resources, Veralto will help ensure billions of people have safe food, water, and medicines every day. With a strong Danaher heritage, the Veralto team will continue to deliver trusted expertise to solve its customers' most complex workflow challenges. Its culture of continuous improvement will be codified in the Veralto Enterprise System, which is derived from the Danaher Business System. The Opportunity: Director, Communications, VERALTO
Position Summary
The Director, Communications will be accountable for shaping and executing internal communications strategies at Veralto. The successful candidate will report to the VP, Communications Veralto and will be a key central contact for communicators across the various Operating Companies. Significant experience in designing, executing, and measuring internal engagement programs, partnering effectively with senior executives and proficiency with digital channels, plus experience of successfully delivering in a global, fast-paced environment, is prioritized in this role. We are seeking an outstanding team player with the intellect, energy, humility, and passion to help bring Veralto and its purpose to life.
Key Responsibilities
Bring a track record in developing and delivering transformational internal communications with demonstrable positive impact on engagement.
Produce a compelling and engaging vision for internal communications - working in partnership with the VP Communications, Chief HR Officer and CEO.
Partner with communications professionals across Veralto’s operating companies to help develop, engage, and inspire 16,000 global associates.
Build and deliver a new, and impactful approach to internal engagement that sets a fresh tone for the organization.
Support CEO and leadership communications with associates.
Accountable for associate communications relating to societal issues, Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) and Environmental Social and Governance (ESG).
Deliver large-scale engagement activities involving Veralto senior leaders to set annual priorities, share company-wide updates and recognize performance.
Partner effectively with colleagues in Talent Acquisition and Brand to develop and activate Veralto’s employer brand campaign.
Implement new technologies to drive a step-change in how Veralto engages with its associates.
Ensure Veralto is benchmarking to excellence for internal engagement.
Work with Veralto and Operating Company communicators to manage the appropriate policies, governance, vendor relationships and standard work to enable effective and impactful internal communications.

Key Experiences
Bachelor’s degree is required.
8+ years progressive communications experience working in a high-growth, dynamic, global organization. In-house experience with a company publicly listed in the US will be prioritized.
Sets a high bar for performance, driving continuous improvement and fostering collaboration.
Track record of building strong and respected working relationships with senior executives to provide strategic counsel and insight into best practices.
Experienced at navigating complex matrixed organizations with demonstrably sound judgment during periods of high pressure.
Designed and executed employee-insight driven engagement activities and/or campaigns that have delivered measurable impact.
Change management experience in a matrixed and/or decentralized global organization.
Experienced in new internal communications technologies and engagement platforms.
Location: Waltham, MA – This position is onsite with flexibility.
Travel: 10% domestic
