Your challenge as Technical Support Engineer Installation & Automation:
You have unique opportunity to drive customer retention and growth servicing our Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) customers. You'll support our range of Videojet coding / marking equipment, industrial small character inkjet, high resolution case printing, labelling systems and Thermal Inkjet and Laser solutions. After a robust training on our products and industry, you will prepare custom-built orders, package devices, and deliver installation and post-installation support. Whilst looking after our mostly custom built devices for larger production lines together with our internal customers, your work is versatile, demanding and rewarding. You will need to be comfortable with the electrical / electronic components of this role to be successful.
Support on-site and remote pre-sales activities to assist OEM Account Managers with developing technical solutions for complex projects
Prepare and on-site build of our installations
Create AutoCAD documentation including electrical diagrams
Manage trials up to installation, defining equipment and accessory requirements, custom hardware and software
Serve as single point of contact for OEM customers from sales offer to installation
Create technical documentation to support sales proposals, installations and service
Prepare and deliver technical trainings to our customers and our OEM teams
Highly organized, able to prioritize multiple complex projects with a high sense of urgency and quality
Electronical specialised Education (i.e. MTS comparable level)
+2 years of technical work experience
AutoCAD proficiency to build custom manuals including electrical diagrams
Good command of English
Willingness to travel up to 25-50%
Experience in coding and marking industry
Previous customer contact role
Experience in mechanical devices industry
