The Buyer Planner I for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics based at our Co.Clare facility will have primary responsibility for the management of EMEAI products. Responsibilities will involve managing inventory for all manufactured and purchased finished goods in warehouses throughout Europe within the EMEAI Finished Goods Planning organisation.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Retrieve ordering signals from the MRP system

  • Place purchase orders based on incoming demand signal

  • Track incoming late shipments and expedite where necessary

  • Adjust Oracle attributes based on incoming demand signals from demand planners

  • Meet inventory targets & continuously review stocking policies to reduce inventory levels

  • Provide vendor performance data for supplier scorecards

  • Manage supply of finished goods items at EU warehouses for customer and internal orders

  • Regularly review stock levels and take necessary action during periods of constrained supply

  • Follow all existing standard procedures for purchasing and inventory management

  • Support Purchasing/NPI projects as assigned by manager

    The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Level 8) in field with at least 3-4 years of relevant experience

    It would be a plus if you also possess:

  • APICS Certification

  • Experience with Oracle Manufacturing
