What you’ll do

  • Work with the global communications team to help design and execute the communications strategy to reach both internal and external target audiences.

  • Support the team with day-to-day responsibilities and run your own projects.

  • Create communication plans, develop assets and measure results to demonstrate the effectiveness of communications to the wider business.

  • Establish and maintain collaborative and effective relationships with stakeholders, across different functions and in different geographies of Cytiva.

  • Develop your business acumen, presentation style and storytelling skills.

  • We offer flexibility as to where you work as long as it is discussed and agreed with your manager. You will likely spend your time working a mix of in-person at our office in Amersham as well remotely from home.

Who you are

  • Recent graduate or placement year student with studies in Communications, Public Relations, English, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and visual communications skills including ability to synthesise complex information and present it in an easy-to-understand manner.

  • A team player with a hunger to learn. Reliable with excellent time management.

  • Integrity: accepting and adhering to high ethical, moral, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions, and when dealing with others.

  • Interest in working in the life sciences industry and across a large complex organization.

  • Preferred: video editing, work experience in PR/communications/marketing.

  • Optional: second language.

  • Eligible to undertake 12-month internship starting end of June / early July
