This position is part of the Service organization and will be located in New Orleans.

You will be a part of the Service Team and report to the Area Director. If you thrive in a fast-paced role and want to work to build a world-class Service organization—read on.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead a team of Field Service Engineers, being responsible for defining their needs with regard to training and developmental; establishing goals to meet objectives; leading the recruitment process to bring the right candidates for your team.

  • Primary focus on service metrics to include localized escalation, engineer technical mentoring and daily activities such as preventative maintenances (PM), modifications (MOD) and balancing daily service-call workload.

  • Regularly visit clients and customers to maintain customer network and develop new relationships for new opportunities in partnering with sales team.

  • Managing and resolving high-pressure customer issues, including product performance issues and Technical Escalations

  • Acting as a primary customer of DBS and leveraging internal and external DBS expertise to map improvement plans and drive sustainable and continuous improvements.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 9+ years’ experience OR Master Degree with 7+ years’ experience

  • 3 + years of prior field service management experience in related field, technical management, or management/supervisory in a field that requires regular customer interaction.

  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and industry specific applications.

  • Current and clean driver’s license record

It would be a plus if you also possess:

  • Previous 5+ years’ experience managing people.

  • Medical Diagnostics Field Service experience
