Danaher Corporation CNC Programmer / Machinist in Lodi, California
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Program, debug and optimize G-codes for Okuma and Agie Charmilles CNC mills and Sodick wire and sinker EDMs.
Specific knowledge of appropriate feeds, speed, and tooling for a wide range of materials.
Ensure proper work documentation using BMRAM.
Weld parts using Laser, Tig and/or Mig welder.
Bench work includes any necessary operations such as filing, de-burring, grinding, and lapping.
Perform preventative maintenance on machines and other company equipment.
Perform quality assurance tests to ensure products meet design specifications
Perform tasks within estimated times while producing good quality parts.
Follow company/department procedures.
Perform various other duties assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
Strong CAD/CAM skills.
- Complete all assigned and required training satisfactorily and on time.
Education or Experience (in years):
High School Diploma and/or GED Equivalent and 6+ years’ experience in machining or related work experience
3-5 years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Experience working in an injection molding tools.
Experience with precision measuring instruments (Projectors, Calipers, Dial Indicators, Micrometers, etc. )
Knowledge and skills:
Knowledge of CAD/CAM software. (MasterCam, SolidWorks, AutoDesk Inventor)
Ability to read and understand part drawings and specifications
Basic understanding of Kaizen and lean manufacturing principles
Knowledgeable in Office software. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
Good organization and documentation skills.
Skilled at troubleshooting and resolving mechanical or logistical problems that arise
Have strong attention to detail
Available to work weekends and overtime
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs. Must be able to stand for several hours. Work may involve repetitive arm/wrist motions.
