Danaher Corporation Facility Technician/M.A.C. Coordinator in Lodi, California

POSITION SUMMARY:

The primary function of the M.A.C. Coordinator is the scheduling and implementation of Moves, Adds and Changes from work orders provided by Space Planning. The space planning list will contain the names and destination locations for upcoming new hires as well as those of internal move requests. The M.A.C. Coordinator will reach out to the end user to schedule the implementation. Requests will range from individual staff relocation to furniture systems reconfiguration. The M.A.C. Coordinator will maintain a warehouse inventory of available existing furniture. Regular trips to and from offsite warehousing will be required using the company vehicle (box truck). In the down time between periods of heavy movement the M.A.C. Coordinator will assist the internal Workplace Operations team with general facilities maintenance.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Open/Close daily work orders routed from Space Planning

  • Communicate/Coordinate with end users for relocation schedule

  • Deliver Boxes/Labels and other moving supplies to associates

  • Relocate Associates (including IT disconnect/reconnect) as directed

  • Follow Up (post move) with end user to ensure satisfaction

  • Reconfigure/Relocate/Seismically brace Furniture as directed

  • Prepare offices/workstations for incoming new hires

  • Assemble/Brace delivered new furniture

  • Assist with equipment/instrument moves as directed

  • Assist space planning with feasibility review

  • Move product from campus to warehouse and warehouse to campus

  • Assist PM team with general ongoing building maintenance and non-contracted beautification (including, but not limited to: light bulb replacement, wall patching/painting etc.)

  • Keep Work Order status updated

  • Maintain inventory of warehoused furniture

  • Maintain company Vehicle - gassed up, routine inspection

  • Maintain inventory of installation tools, ladders etc.

  • Maintain inventory of move supplies (dollies/open tops, O&Is, power strips, data cables, installation hardware)

TRAINING RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Complete all assigned and required training satisfactorily and on time

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education and Experience (in years):

  • High school degree (or equivalent experience) with 1-2 years of relevant work experience

Knowledge and skills:

  • Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Ability to drive a box truck

Physical requirements/abilities:

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must be able to stand for several hours. Work may involve repetitive arm/wrist motions.

Other:

  • Must have valid driver’s license

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1-3 years of previous experience in a Facilities type role

  • Forklift Training preferred
