We have the following shifts available:
1st shift (6AM-2:30PM PT)
2nd shift (2PM-10:30PM PT)
3rd shift (10PM-6:30AM PT)
All shifts must work at least one weekend day (either Saturday or Sunday).
Equipment technician in the Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance Department to troubleshoot, repair and sustain custom automation equipment. Perrform hands-on preventive and corrective maintenance tasks to ensure maximum production output.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work closely with Production and Engineering groups to monitor equipment status and performance
Proactively address problems using the appropriate troubleshooting and repair techniques
Document all repairs and the appropriate adjustments made in Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Assess the equipment’s performance and repair history and work with engineers to plan a preventative maintenance schedule as well as work on equipment upgrades
Ability to train equipment technicians and operators
Write maintenance procedures and reports
Perform equipment Installation Qualification (IQ) protocols
TRAINING RESPONSIBILITIES: (REQUIRED)
- Complete all assigned and required training satisfactorily and on time
Education and Experience (in years):
High School degree (or equivalent experience) with 4-6 years of related work experience
AA or Technical Trade Degree with 2-4 years of related work experience
Knowledge and skills:
Must have excellent communication skills
Have basic knowledge working with MS Office
Must have solid understanding of interpreting manuals and schematics and have strong knowledge in mechanical alignment and the troubleshooting of automated mechanical, electrical and pneumatic equipment
Must have experience working with pneumatics actuators and cylinders
Familiarity with electrical/electronic components, Automation, Robotics, Sensors, Fiber Optics and motors
Basic usage of hand tools and the ability to use multimeters to trouble shoot equipment problems
Previous work experience in a Manufacturing environment; ability to repair equipment timely under pressure situations
Must be able to lift 25 lbs
Must be able to stand for several hours
4yr Bachelor’s or 2yr Associates degree preferred
Ultrasonic welding experience is a plus
GMP experience a plus
PLC knowledge and experience is a plus
