Danaher Corporation Process Engineering Manager in Lodi, California

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Recruit, retain, mentor and develop the Consumables Process Engineering team.

  • Develop staffing plans, assign projects and balance resource workload.

  • Co-ordinate resources to complete validation projects across multiple production lines and shifts.

  • Works with internal and external departments, providing communication/feedback to foster continuous improvement.

  • Ability to make decisions guided by data, policies, procedure and business plan.

  • Monitors factory output, recommends and establishes manufacturing processes, flow, and performance metrics for Manufacturing.

  • Ensures that quality procedures and company policies are followed by Manufacturing personnel.

  • Recommend and implement improvements to current design, procedures, and process.

  • Define, establish, monitor and report key performance metrics to meet manufacturing objectives. Ensuring the KPIs and key goals are achieved, and that manufacturing capacity meets the established plan.

TRAINING RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Complete all assigned and required training satisfactorily and on time

  • Ensures all associates in organization attend and complete all required trainings.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Manufacturing/Process Engineering or related field.

  • Minimum of three years’ prior engineering leadership experience

  • Experience with Automated and Semi-Automated assembly

  • Strong technical problem-solving skills and statistical process control capability.

  • Lean manufacturing experience a plus; including techniques such as 5 Why, and Six Sigma

  • Working knowledge of GMP, ISO, and FDA rules and regulatory requirements. Automotive, aerospace, or other regulated industry experience may be considered.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • Project management experience a plus.

  • Quality Management System experience preferred.

  • Knowledge and experience in plastics assembly techniques.
