The Cell Culture Media: Global Product Quality, Sustainability and Business Continuity Leader is responsible for three critical focus areas for the Cell Culture Media business unit-- ensuring the highest quality standards for our cell culture media products, driving global sustainability efforts and maintaining robust business continuity plans across the Cell Culture Media manufacturing network.
This position reports to the VP of Operations for Cell Culture Media and is part of the Operations Team located in Logan, Utah and will be an on-site role.
What you will do:
Lead Product Quality efforts, including Customer Defect Tracking & Resolution (CDT&R) activities utilizing the Danaher Reliability System.
Accountable for ensuring the CDTR process has CDTR Daily Management (DM) installed, including auditing the DM process.
Provide technical and project support of Sustainability initiatives, including Greenhouse Gas, Water, and Solid Waste reductions.
Work with R&D to ensure that Product Carbon Footprints are built and Sourcing to develop CO2 data to catalog our Scope 3 emissions.
Support and improve Business Continuity Management systems across the Cell Culture Media manufacturing sites.
Who you are:
Bachelor's degree in Biologic Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years product quality/management/operations environment within Life Science, Medical Device or Biopharma manufacturing environments.
Demonstrated knowledge of the Danaher Reliability System or Continuous Improvement and its application in a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing sustainability initiatives and develop and maintain business continuity plans.
Experienced in managing project teams and working cross functionally, both locally & globally.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
- Travel up to 25%, both domestic and international.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Biopharma GMP requirements
Business Continuity Management Systems experience
Sustainability Program development and deployment

The salary range for this role is $115,000 - $135,000 USD annual. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
