What you’ll do

  • Contribute to the execution of media development service projects

  • Able to work independently with direction as well as on teams to execute cell culture experiments

  • Work as part of a team to meet timelines, project deliverables for media and process development optimization programs

  • Carry out procedures involving basic laboratory techniques, calculations, materials measurement and operation of laboratory equipment

  • Collect cell culture data, maintain detailed laboratory notebooks and project documentation

  • Contribute to project presentations and reports

  • May be required to perform other related duties as required and/or assigned

Who you are

  • BS in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering or related discipline

  • Previous cell culture and aseptic technique experience

  • Hands-on industry experience in cell line development, cell culture process development and/or manufacturing within a pharmaceutical/biotechnology company

  • Diverse hands-on experience in multiple cell lines and bioreactor systems highly desirable

  • Excellent communication skills (writing, articulating, listening, questioning)

  • Attention to detail with ability to aggregate and analyze data in a meaningful way

  • Proven ability to contribute in a multi-disciplinary team environment

  • Self-starter and results oriented

  • Demonstrated problem solving ability

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative, matrixed, and customer focused environment
