Our job is to supply the tools and services - the pots, pans, soups and sauces - they need to work better, faster and safer, leading to better patient outcomes.What you’ll doThe Distribution Associate executes the receiving, storing, picking, staging and distribution of materials required for assembly/manufacture of product.Perform physical movement of materials from one area to another using handcarts or forkliftsPicks parts/products for shipments ensuring accuracy of identification and quantityPhysically and systemically receive/issue individual material requisitions from internal and external departmentsCreate and/or maintain transactional inventory recordsMaintain accurate files of packing and shipping activityCommunicate/notify appropriate personnel of shipping/inventory discrepanciesFill kits and deliver to production as requiredMaintain stocking/inventory objectivesQuantifies and verifies cycle countComply with EHS and Quality System regulations and policiesPerform other duties and/or special projects as assignedQuality Specific GoalsAware of and comply with Stop Order, Concession, Defect Awareness, ESD, non-conforming material, material identification/segregation and Good Documentation Practices procedures as associated with this job type/position. Aware of and comply with the Cytiva Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position. Complete all planned Quality and Compliance training within the defined deadlines. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required.Who you areHigh school diploma or local equivalentDemonstrated ability to communicated (read, write, and speak) in EnglishMust be capable of passing Department of Transportation’s Health Exam to operate company vehicle routing materials to and from company and outside warehousesProficient in basic mathematicsCapable of working in extreme cold conditions (-20 ̊ C/-4 ̊ F) on a regular basisAbility to communicate well and work with othersBasic computer skillsAbility to consistently lift up to 75 poundsAbility to utilize automated lifting equipment – have forklift certification or ability to become certifiedDesired Characteristics2+ years’ experience in storing and material handlingPrevious experience with Oracle and Master ControlKnowledge of computerized material flow methodsBasic knowledge of quality and inventory controlPrior experience using a forklift and weight scalesWho we areWhatever your role, we bring purpose and challenge into our everyday work.
