What you’ll do
raw material characterization, and other business needs
Method and test identification and development for a wide range of organic and inorganic molecules supporting media and buffer manufacturing
Utilize problem-solving tools and techniques such as DBS and lean methodology to solve business problems quickly
Initiate and lead cross-functional problem-solving collaborations, with partners from manufacturing, quality, sourcing, commercial/customers, regulatory, etc.
Design, perform, assess, and report out on analytical methods for both routine testing and problem-solving tools
Evaluate customer-requested new product formulations, benchtop testing and determining possible analytical methods and acceptance criteria
Ensure regulatory compliance through validation and verification as needed
Provide and follow safe processes that comply with all local, federal, and site guidelines.
Adhere to department rules and good laboratory practices, including documentation, as well as company regulations.
Standing, sitting, walking, bending, reaching, manual manipulation, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
Who you are
MS or higher degree in biochemistry, inorganic, organic, or physical chemistry with at least 3 years of experience
A problem solver who loves working with varied teams and priorities
Analytical thinker who can apply scientific principles to real life applications
Proficient in analytical techniques, such as HPLC/UPLC, ICP-MS, biochemical assays, quantitative and qualitative wet chemistry
• Experienced in properly handling, using, and disposing of potentially hazardous chemicals
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Track record of effective collaboration in cross functional teams
