  • Determine and set daily, weekly, and monthly manufacturing schedules within value streams. This role requires superior organization and planning skills. Production schedulers will examine customer orders, available staff and inventory, as well as machinery capabilities to effectively set and manage production schedules for multiple production lines. In addition, you will monitor manufacturing performance and actively adjust schedules in response to customer change requests, equipment downtime or supply shortages. Rescheduling materials for pull ins (expedites) and push outs (for inventory control)

  • Create production schedules for multiple areas

  • Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to ensure on-time performance to PLT to customers

  • Generate daily/weekly production reports

  • Identify and report capacity constraints

  • Work closely with supervisors, leads, and managers to ensure effective communication in setting expectations and deadlines

  • Work with supervisors and manager to implement process improvements to achieve better production performance

  • Work with supervisors to ensure that materials and equipment are available to support production schedules, and materials are pre-arranged on production floor

  • Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner, gathers and analyzes information skillfully and maintains confidentiality.

  • Communicates clearly and persuasively in positive or challenging situations and demonstrates customer empathy.

  • Writes clearly, succinctly, accurately

  • Adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and can deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.

  • Other duties as assigned by manager

Who you are

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with

  • at least 4 years of experience in Manufacturing

  • Computer proficiency

  • Working knowledge of Oracle

  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills

  • Strong problem-solving skills

Desired Characteristics:

  • APICS Certification

  • Six Sigma Green Belt

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

  • Ability to work independently

  • Strong problem-solving skills
