Danaher Corporation Territory Manager in Logan, Utah

Position summary:

The Territory Manager supports growth and expansion of direct sales and profit margins within the defined territory/region on water monitoring hardware, software and services. Develop and nurture professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts while striving to achieve goals for profitable sales volume and margin dollars.

Sales territory includes:

Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Utah and Washington. Qualified candidates must live in the territory and near a major airport.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Provide consultative, solutions-based information to customers in the environmental water space, to help them understand how Ott Hydromet and our products, software/SaaS, and services can meet their business needs and solve their complex water monitoring and flood warning challenges.

  • Develop a territory and drive a business plan as one’s own business

  • Partner with customers, building sustainable relationships to ensure exceptional service.

  • Use customer insights and decision criteria to provide a consultative solution-based sale to address their current and future hardware and software needs.

  • Demonstrate time & territory balance by executing planned activities to maximize time in the field with customers and prospects

  • Prepares and presents a monthly funnel review utilizing SalesForce.com to demonstrate the quality of the funnel, activity plans and command of the account base.

  • 50% Travel activity

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of direct B2B sales experience, preferably selling water quality, flow, discharge, telemetry solutions, and software solutions to urban hydrologists, Federal Government Agencies and local/muni flood and storm water agencies, and water/wastewater treatment plants

  • A BA/BS degree preferably in business or a science is an asset.

  • Must have a valid driver license and acceptable driving record.
