The Technical Advisor is responsible for supporting all internal and external customers over the phone, e-mail, and chat. You will be successful through mentoring and leadership within the department, and by having a sophisticated understanding of Salesforce, products and applications, soft skills, vertical markets, and sales lead identification.

In this role, you will work from Monday – Friday supporting our Global customers. The position can be based either in Spain (Bilbao-Derio) or France (Lognes).

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Reporting to the Manager Technical Support EU and working in a matrix organization.

  • Respond to customer calls, e-mails, and chats to provide technical support for analyser(s) and other Hach products and solutions

  • Experience troubleshooting issues to distinguish between hardware, software and/or reagent failures to dispatch the appropriate resources

  • Act as a liaison between Technical Support and all cross-functional departments to relay Customer Satisfaction, (CSat), and drive continuous improvement

    The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science or equivalent

  • Fluent in either French or Spanish, and proficiency in English is required

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Customer Service drive and focus with a proactive approach

  • Strong communication skills are key, as you will work closely with other team members, across the Globe to ensure world-class responses to customer demands
