Summary Purpose of the Position: Facilitate the global rollout of self-service BI tools and provide training and technical support to power users from the business. Be the first point of contact of BI team and manage service desk tickets.Work closely with the business to design and manage BI projects.
Train and support Power BI supper users.
Manage service desk tickets and support reporting issue resolution.
Manage and scope out BI projects in a cross-functional environment and drive project success metrics and timeline.
Mange the Power BI environment.
Review, update or create documentation where appropriate.
Interpreting business requirements for reporting into technical specifications.
Develop Power BI reports and Tabular models.
Expected to spend 2 days per week at our Portsmouth European HQ.
Knowledge & Key Skills:
Higher education level (or equivalent gained through work experience).
Previous business analyst experience.
Hands on experience of working with BI Visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau and Qlikview. Preferably, Power BI.
Knowledge and experience of BI platforms, data warehousing and cubes.
Experience with any ERP system, SAP preferred.
Ability to define, document, and lead implementation of business processes and software requirements for technology initiatives.
Must be able to quickly learn new tools and databases.
Experience in Providing Training and support Function to a wide user base.
