Leica Biosystems is seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Manager to join our Global Digital Marketing organisation in EMEA. This position will be remotely based and the person can be located in any of the listed UK & EU countries.
This position is key to us for implementing the digital marketing and online lead generation activities for our EMEA region. You will provide your strong analytical skills, discernment, and innovative marketing ideas to build a better digital marketing program by measuring, optimising, testing, recommending, and implementing improvements on all programs and campaigns. You’ll own tactics including but not limited to email, search engine optimisation (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), landing pages, web capture forms, lead acquisition, data cleansing and lead scoring.
We'll also get you to be responsible for the day-to-day management and execution of our EMEA Digital Marketing programs and tactics, in collaboration with our EMEA Marketing Team within a Matrix environment. You’ll handle the performance of the Leica Biosystems EMEA website to generate more organic traffic and ultimately more qualified leads. You will be adept at using all conversion rate optimisation tactics and platforms to accomplish these goals and capable of collaborating with web development, content, campaign teams and key marketing partners across the organisation.
In this role, you’ll
Set up, supervise and maintain successful pay-per-click advertising campaign including keywords, bids, ad copy and landing pages
Improve click-through and conversion rates for our PPC campaigns
Conceptualise and build display advertising programs to generate leads
Partner with Business Unit marketing, Sales Unit marketing and PPC? agency to optimise the paid search channels
Web Channel Management
Maintain and lead all aspects of the localised web site content using a content management system (CMS) and ensure overall quality, accuracy and relevancy of the website
Design, execute, measure and implement findings from A/B tests to improve the user experience and drive deeper engagement and volume of qualified users
Provide creative thinking and innovative ideas to optimise web pages
Provide recommendations and digital consulting to Regional marketing teams on the most effective methods of generating leads via the web and digital channels
Digital Marketing Campaigns
Collaborate with regional and global teams to craft inspiring content and campaigns that drive traffic and increase customer engagement
Craft and optimise websites for demand generation channels and campaigns
Digital Analytics & Reporting
Perform data analysis around web traffic and other metrics
Set targets, supervise critical metrics, and set up mechanisms to measure campaigns across online channels
Provide daily, weekly, and/or monthly digital channels performance reports
Use reporting to recommend user-funnel optimisation by channel and impactful insights across the website that will be useful to the marketing leadership team
What you’ll need to do the job
Bachelor's Degree preferably in Computer Science, Business or Marketing.
Significant progressive experience in digital marketing for a dynamic startup or high growth, European or Global organisation
Experience running SEO and PPC initiatives
Shown experience of successfully managing PPC campaigns in multiple languages and territories.
Proven market growth by driving traffic & leads from web & SEO activities
Experience with a Marketing Automation tool (preferably Salesforce Pardot or Marketo)
Familiarity with key digital marketing topics: Email marketing, SEO, SEM, marketing automation, A/B testing, content management systems (CMS), localisation, and paid social media.
Proficiency with Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Google Analytics (and other web analytics and digital advertising tools)
