The Senior GL Accountant is responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting activities, month-end close, audits and all compliance work for EMEA entities. The role provides learning, projects, and growth opportunities in the organization.

This position is part of the EMEA Accounting Team and will be located remotely.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

· Prepare journal entries and reconcile balance sheet accounts

· Support the monthly close in accordance with US GAAP while ensuring proper maintenance of statutory financials. This includes interfacing with corporate accounting, external accounting firms and external auditors.

· Support the external provider with the preparation of statutory accounts, VAT and Tax returns and completion of SOX and External Audits

· Prepare flux analysis and comment on variances

· Support the EMEA Finance strategy of operational excellence and continuous process improvement

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelors (or equivalent) in the Accounting field

• Experience in ERP Financial and General Ledger Modules

• Knowledge of both US GAAP and Local GAAP

• A proven background in all aspects of financial Accounting

• Fluency in English (verbal and written)

  It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Masters (or equivalent) in the Accounting field

• International experience

• Advanced knowledge in MS Excel

• Knowlege in SAP

• A second European language

Le comptable GL senior (Niveau P2) est responsable de la gestion des activités comptables quotidiennes, des clôtures mensuelles, des audits et de tous les travaux de conformité pour les entités de la région EMEA. Le poste offre des opportunités d'apprentissage, de projets et de croissance au sein de l'organisation.

Ce poste fait partie de l'équipe comptable EMEA et sera localisé à distance (en remote). Cepheid a pour ambition d'être le premier fournisseur de solutions de diagnostic connectées de manière transparente.

Dans ce rôle, vous aurez l'opportunité de :

• Vous serez chargé(e) de la mise en place de l'organisation et de la gestion de l'ensemble des activités de l'entreprise.

• Vous êtes en charge de la gestion de l'ensemble des activités de l'entreprise, de l'organisation et de la mise en œuvre de la stratégie. Cela inclut l'interface avec la comptabilité d'entreprise, les cabinets comptables externes et les auditeurs externes.

• Aider le prestataire externe à préparer les comptes statutaires, les déclarations de TVA et d'impôts et à mener à bien les audits SOX et externes.

• Préparer l'analyse des flux et commenter les écarts.

• Vous êtes en charge de l'élaboration et de la mise en œuvre d'un plan d'action pour le développement de l'activité de l'entreprise.

  Les exigences essentielles du poste sont les suivantes

• Maîtrise dans le domaine de la comptabilité

• Expérience préalable en tant qu'auditeur dans un cabinet d'audit

• Connaissance des normes comptables américaines (US GAAP) et locales (Local GAAP)

• Maîtrise de l'anglais (oral et écrit)

• Au moins 5 ans d'expérience professionnelle dans ce domaine

  Une expérience préalable dans les domaines suivants serait un atout :

• Expérience des modules financiers et de comptabilité générale de SAP ERP

• Expérience internationale

• Connaissance approfondie de MS Excel
