About the role:

The Electrical Technician will perform functional testing and electrical wiring/assembly in order to meet customer quality and delivery expectations.

  • Complete functional inspection of all assemblies which includes wire power and control connections, configure customer specific settings, perform diagnostic routines, and Hi-Pot and functional test sequences

  • Troubleshoot functional issues and determine corrective actions

  • Assist in defining test protocols and methods within all areas of manufacturing and their associated hardware/software

  • Complete and maintain test records

  • Meet daily delivery targets

  • Document and communicate non-conformances both internally and externally

  • Perform other tasks as requested by leader

  • Attention to detail and tactical execution of work

  • Brings energy, direction and purpose to the workplace every day

  • Strong team competence and ability to work collaboratively in a cross functional environment

  • Willing to go where the work is and contribute to overall team success

  • Consistently uses good judgment particularity with regards to Safety and Quality

Are you qualified?

  • Minimum 2-year Electrical/Electronic Technician or Technologist Diploma

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics/diagrams

  • Experience operating/testing control panels (with PLC/embedded controls)

  • Experience with regulatory codes (UL508A, CSA, NEC and CE)

  • Strong problem-solving skills and troubleshooting abilities
