Main role / Job Objective:
As a Preventative Maintenance Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for executing preventative maintenance (PM) procedures on the Esko line of cutting tables at customer accounts. You may be called upon to travel outside of your assigned region as the need arises.
You must have a strong mechanical aptitude and PC experience for this position. Electrical/electronic knowledge will also give you an opportunity for further advancement as a Field Service Engineer.
Strong communication skills and ability to handle all types of customer situations is key to customer satisfaction.
Main responsibilities and key activities:
You will perform preventative maintenance on Esko line of cutting tables as described in equipment maintenance manuals. This includes:
o Gearboxes, complex mechanical adjustments o Replacement of mechanical parts; bearings, gears, motors o Perform software upgrades and diagnostics o Train customer on proper maintenance protocols
Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
- Keep accurate records, complete required paperwork and reports
- Average of 75% travel inside or outside of assigned region; overnight travel
Qualifications and professional knowledge:
- Associate degree in Electrical/Mechanical or 3 years equivalent military experience
- Knowledge of any other language is a plus.
