Beckman Coulter Life Sciences is seeking a Global eBusiness and Omnichannel Manager to join its commercial marketing organization.

This role will drive the company’s strategy for e-commerce and other direct-to-customer channels (eProcurement, Amazon, marketplaces, etc.). This L3/team leader will drive the eBusiness strategic roadmap, the e-commerce experience product technology plan, performance marketing strategies for consumables product lines, and enabling catalog syndication and digital transactional capabilities across marketplaces and Amazon. This eBusiness manager will be responsible for critical initiatives to further accelerate merchandising, DTC product promotions, and marketing e-commerce programs to advise scalability across our global footprint. Daily responsibility will also include developing team members to deliver e-commerce conversion rate, revenue, and orders on beckman.com, regional expansion of digital transactional channel performance, key account enablement/optimization on e-procurement channels, performing initiatives for product marketing performance and customer acquisition, and advising championship and collaboration of eBusiness programs with global partners.

The eBusiness and Omnichannel Manager will be responsible for driving online revenue, e-commerce marketing programs, shopper/customer insights, and digital CX projects to craft the future growth of the company. This role will work across multiple teams including digital/website, marketing, sales, client services, and IT. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience managing initiatives for a B2B or B2C e-commerce-enabled website. The candidate should have a familiarity with enterprise-level e-commerce and marketing technology applications.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for global go-to-market strategies for eEBusiness channels, direct-to-customer experience, omnichannel enablement and expansion, and leading initiatives to drive both customer retention of consumables products and customer acquisition/channel shift for e-commerce programs.

  • Plan and direct eBusiness team performance objectives, strategies, and financial plan/forecast for channels and strategy.

  • Measure and evaluate key performance indicators (critical metrics) such as orders and revenue generated conversion rates from product detail pages (PDPs), and customer acquisition, channel shift, and retention mentoring the team through deep analysis and countermeasure implementation as appropriate.

  • Advising the team to be a strategic partner with website development, digital experience and IT teams for e-commerce product roadmap for technical improvements, downstream order management efficiencies, and innovating upstream customer experiences.

  • Develop go-to-market strategies for new e-commerce regional markets and partner with regional commercial teams to drive customer awareness, product, and operational enablement, and strategic financial impact to the business and region.

  • Lead marketing campaign managers to drive campaign-attributed revenue, orders, and conversion rate through omnichannel marketing strategy.

  • Leads promotional offerings, pricing, and merchandising strategies for e-commerce on beckman.com and eBusiness channels.

  • Ensures governance with PIM Manager and Website Product Manager for updates to consumables product information, pricing, and content with the business unit on beckman.com and eBusiness channels.

  • Supervise industry trends, competitive intelligence, and market conditions relative to specific service offerings.

Qualifications

  • 8-10 years of experience in an e-commerce role or website operations.

  • 3-5 years of experience directing a team.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or communications; Master’s degree a plus.

  • Highly collaborative and problem-solver mentality to uncover answers to tough questions.

  • Comfortable leading projects and teams to find clarity in ambiguous environments.

  • Proactive, bold drive and mentality, with an initiative to roll up the sleeves to get things done.

  • Familiar with performance objectives planning with achievement to stretch goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment.

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, quality of work and outstanding time leadership skills to lead efficiently in an agile project management culture.

  • Experience with digital analytics and key performance indicators (critical metrics) to drive online revenue and marketing programs.

  • Working with e-commerce technology, preference with Intershop, Oracle, Magento, Sitecore Commerce, or Elastic Path.

  • Track record of launching catalog syndication, e-procurement channel integrations, Amazon seller program, Google Shopping, or marketplaces a plus.

  • Leading product data within PIM or product database.

  • Validated understanding of Microsoft Office programs.

  • Experience working with creative agencies/vendors.

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).

  • Self-motivated, performance, and results-driven.

Preferred Experience:

  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), preference with Sitecore or Adobe Experience Manager.

  • Experience working for a manufacturer or distributor in an eCommerce or digital role.

  • Experience with Salesforce CRM.
