*POSITION SUMMARY: * * * The CPQ Specialist is responsible supporting the implementation of a new global Configure Price Quote (CPQ) system. This position will help to implement our requirements in the system, customize and modify the system to meet our company needs and support our business processes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: *
* Translate business requirements into CPQ system and configure and customize the CPQ system to meet the internal customer requirements
* Design technical specifications, leveraging best practices and minimizing the need for custom coding
* Provide internal CPQ consulting to improve the business process to driving growth
* Define project scope, document business requirements and develop technical requirements for developers as needed
* Analyze data and business processes
* Create test scenarios and do solution testing
* Functional and technical CPQ support as well as troubleshooting of (integration) issues * Develop training materials; prepare and support admin, power and end user trainings * Support the set-up of integrations to existing business systems * Project management and project documentation *Charts the Course * Leads in a global environment - Demonstrates an appropriate level of business acumen, including understanding of how own role contributes to Hach meeting its strategic goals. The ideal candidate is a talented professional with profound Configure Price Quote (CPQ) system implementation experience. The candidate has a strong customer focus, is action oriented and works well in a global environment. This individual will be a strong communicator and team player who is able to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Education and/or Experience * BA or BS degree in a technically related field or equivalent technical work experience * 2 years proven experience designing and developing effective and efficient technology solutions using CPQ applications (such as Apttus, Oracle CPQ, Salesforce CPQ) * Experience as Salesforce CPQ administrator or as CPQ consultant having strong knowledge of administration and configuration possibilities * CPQ certification(s) a plus * CPQ Developer experience a plus * Experience with Salesforce CRM * Successful project management experience * Proven effectiveness in working with other associates in a global cross-functional team * Capability to analyze and evaluate complex business processes * High degree of independence and self-initiative * Good time management and working structure * Fluent English language skills, German a plus * Occasional willingness to travel Key Behaviors for Success * Demonstrates understanding of the needs and expectations of our global organization * Shows a strong customer orientation * Applies critical thinking when reviewing customer requests * Able to self-train quickly and pick up new skills as necessary * Strong problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills to set up and interpret logic, data tables and rule relationships * Builds relationships with internal customers and within team in a global environment * Ensures high expectations for results * Strong communication skills _ENVIRONMENT_ _ _ _Physical Demands_ _ _ The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
