About the Field Service Manager role:

Reporting into the Hach service organization, the Field Service Manager (FSM) is directly responsible for the successful delivery and execution of Hach’s field service contract and on-demand obligations, recruiting, hiring, and developing Field Service Technicians (FSTs), tracking business and operational trends, and improving the customer-Hach relationship. This position will have up to 40% travel throughout the West Region.

  • Establish and maintain strong customer relationships by making periodic contact/visits, exploring specific needs, resolving problems, and establishing service strategies

  • Regularly review expenditures against budget and control expenses to align with budget expectations

  • Meeting preventative maintenance, startup, troubleshooting, and responsibility to ensure we’re looking after our obligations

  • Direct supervisory responsibility of a technical customer facing team responsible for servicing Hach analytical instruments

  • Travel to customer sites and ride along with FSTs to evaluate performance, establish relationships, and evaluate compliance to standard work

  • Business Discernment: Working towards business objectives, customer satisfaction, inventory, customer Net Promoter Score (NPS)

    Are you qualified?

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience desired

  • 3+ years of operational management experience; Proven industry experience a plus

  • Experience in a highly, customer-focused role; Ability to build customer dedication and meet expectations

  • Successful track record of mentoring and coaching a team

  • Background with ServiceMax or Salesforce including report development, data input, data analysis, and dashboard creation preferred

  • Strong communication and organizational skills; Ability to balance several competing priorities

  • Experience managing sound business practices and execution of strategy to profits and losses

The salary range for this role is $95K - $110K. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
