We are currently seeking an Indirect Buyer who will be responsible for the indirect buying function supporting the Operations team and manufacturing process. This position is a key role within the Beckman Coulter Procurement team reporting to the Supply Chain Manager and will be onsite in Loveland. We seek an enthusiastic self-starter with drive to learn and strives for continuous improvement in existing processes.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Work cohesively with cross functional staff and suppliers to follow up and resolve product discrepancies regarding quality, quantity, delivery, and price.

  • Provide customer service for products and services within the Indirect Material and Packaging categories with the ability to create Purchase Orders.

  • Monitor and manage supplier PO status’, reconcile invoice/PO discrepancies, shipment tracking information, on-time delivery, and escalate or problem-solve with effective countermeasures.

  • Examine, monitor, and audit inventory stock and distribute materials accordingly to support operational production flow.

  • Utilize Kanban practices in a fast-paced environment with a continuous focus on maintaining quality and safety standards.

The required qualifications for the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years’ experience in an indirect buyer/buyer or related role.

  • Proven experience working effectively with suppliers and maintaining accurate inventory data

  • Experience with MRP/ERP systems, and proficiency with MS Office.

  • Demonstrated ability to work with other cross-functional areas as needed.

  • Ability to lift (up to) 45-lbs

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Knowledge of or experience with Kanban inventory management practices

  • Experience with Oracle MRP/ERP systems.

The salary range for this role is $65K-80K. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
