_Purpose of Position:_
As a Programmer Analyst, you will design, develop and manage IT solutions using Oracle E-Business Suite Order Management modules to meet the needs of the business. As part of this job, you will be supporting our EDI and ecommerce interfaces. You will work closely with the business subject matter experts to develop solutions that facilitate process improvements. You will be supporting customer service and sales users, addressing user issues. The job includes using PL SQL and knowledge of the back-end database, as well as knowledge of the front-end functionality, to drive to root cause and solve the problem.
Essential Functions: * Functional and technical support of the Order Management, including Advanced Pricing, modules of Oracle E-Business Suite * Support the EDI system, including troubleshooting issues and setting up new trading partners * Support the interface from Oracle EBS to our ecommerce web, working with the digital marketing team to implement new functionality * Implementation of additional Oracle modules, functionality or additional subsidiaries * Manage IT related projects * Work with the business users to define and document project requirements * Design solutions to meet project requirements * Implement solutions, working with off shore technical resources as required * Develop detailed and comprehensive test plans * Unit test systems and applications * Coordinate testing with the business users * Handle user issues, using knowledge of both front-end functionality and back-end database, to resolve issues * Open and work Oracle service requests * Create and maintain PL/SQL functions and procedures as well as Oracle SQL queries and views * Support Java interface code * Work independently on assigned projects and tasks, effectively using other resources as needed * Mentor and cross train other IT associates and designated users to support areas of responsibility * Provide input to IT standards and SOPs and follow established standards
* Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field * 5 years proven experience implementing and/or supporting Oracle EBS * 5 years experience working with relational databases * Expert knowledge of Oracle EBS Order Management modules. Experience with other modules is a plus * Experience with EDI and/or ecommerce interfaces is desired * Strong knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server TSQL is a plus * Strong interpersonal skills * Experience with end to end Oracle EBS implementation * Strong business knowledge in various business areas * Basic understanding of desktop operating systems and network communication protocols * Basic understanding of PC hardware and peripherals Environment: Office environment.
