Description
_Purpose of Position:_

The purpose of this position is to assure the compliance of Hach products to global electronic & chemical regulations. Will be responsible for providing system administration for the Agile PLM database used to manage compliance data. Responsibilities also include reviewing and approving engineering changes to ensure continued compliance with regulations.

_Essential Functions:_

Lead and participate in efforts to implement Agile PLM database updates to include: * Defining system & test requirements * Administration of Agile PLM system update processes * Identifying and maintaining user accounts and permissions * Authoring system process documentation and providing training to end-users Works with Product Compliance engineers and independently to approve engineering changes. * Ensures compliance requirements are maintained, with 3rd party (ATEX, NRTL, FDA, FCC, 3-A, NSF, NB, etc.) and internal (EMC, NEMA, IP, etc.) requirements * Approves changes to controlled drawings and components * Ensures compliance data for all items is populated correctly in Agile PLM * Approves products for sale to target markets Understands the business drivers important to meeting product compliance requirements and monitors those requirements to audit company products. * Independently collects compliance information & monitors product certifications * Monitors product compliance standards and identifies impacted products * Notifies owners and ensures corrective action is taken _Other Non-Essential Functions:_ * Other duties as assigned

Qualification
* Associate’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree in a technology field (Computer Science, Electronics) preferred or an equivalent combination of education and work experience * Knowledge of global product compliance regulations * Experienced with Agile PLM, Oracle ERP or similar business systems * Experience with change control processes * Strong communication skills, both written and verbal * Proficient Microsoft Office Suite _Preferred_ * Experience designing or implementing database solutions. * Danaher Business Systems experience ENVIRONMENT
