Danaher Corporation Qualitative UX Researcher (Hybrid) in Loveland, Colorado

This position is located at our Loveland, Colorado location. It is a hybrid position where you can work part-time at the Company location identified above and part-time remotely from your home.

We need an agile Qualitative User Experience Researcher who will move quickly to provide insight which inspires and helps us deliver amazing end-to-end products and experiences.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Knows the strengths and weaknesses of different user research methods, and when to apply them

  • Exceptional behavioral data-collection and analysis skills, e.g., designing, conducting, and analyzing all kinds of user data.

  • Can objectively observe, interact with, and collect data from users, e.g. interviews, user testing, etc.

  • Able to distill research findings into actionable insights for product development

  • Comfortable with fast-paced work environment and responsibilities for multiple projects at any given time.

  • Excellent writing, communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills; the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.


  • 2+ years’ experience as a researcher on an end-to-end product - creating research agendas and schedules, defining and tracking user experience goals and metrics, driving execution on projects, and managing the work of additional resources.

  • Hands-on experience with user testing, field research, survey design, online user research and experimentation tools, or usage data analysis.

  • Experience with a broad range of research methodologies (qualitative and quantitative techniques) and the right balance between the two.

  • The ability to work in front-end generative spaces as well as throughout product development that involves more iterative, rapid, and evaluative methods.

  • A BA/BS in a research related field with significant academic or industry experience are a huge plus!. A MA/MS or PhD in psychology, human factors, HCI, behavioral science or related field preferred.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Leadership skills to influence across and up the organization to bring customer empathy and understanding to the table.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills; experience presenting to executive-level audiences; proven track record of bringing clarity to messy data stories.

  • A true advocate for the design of inclusive and excellent user experiences for customers

  • Demonstrated ability to visualize and present rich research data simply and clearly.

  • A track record of moving beyond data by translating customer needs, behavior, and insights into user requirements, and work with engineers, program managers, and designers to develop specs that achieve an intuitive and usable experience for customers.

  • Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and demonstrated agility and flexibility in decision making and the way you work. You demonstrate an openness and growth mindset in all that you do

  • Comfortable working in ambiguous product areas, informing new opportunity spaces and high value customer experiences

Appreciated but optional:

  • Experience with Atlassian Suite

Compensation details:

The salary range for this role is 95K - 115K. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
