Position summary:

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our collaborative R&D team onsite in Loveland, CO! This is a great opportunity to apply your experience to the design, redesign, test, modeling and use of various products, subassemblies and systems.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Design and analyze electrical hardware circuits to reliably achieve functional requirements and quantitative specifications.

  • Design electrical tests to verify performance of electrical hardware circuits and demonstrate insensitivity of the design to parameters including component and manufacturing variation, temperature, humidity, aging, corrosion, ESD, EMS, and vibration and shock.

  • Completes requirements for Preliminary and Critical Design Reviews

  • Demonstrates a comprehensive, intensive, practical knowledge of a technical field and skill in applying this knowledge to the development of new methods, approaches, or procedures.

  • Participates and takes leadership role in technical discussions with GPD (Global Product Development) team.

  • Actively tracks developments in the electrical engineering community and incorporates them where appropriate


  • BS with a minimum of 10 years of directly relevant experience or an MS with 5 years of

  • Experience with commonly-used circuits, analysis and measurement tools

  • ISO quality systems (specifically Design Controls/Product Realization.)

  • Circuit design, modeling, performance analysis (SPICE) and tradeoff analysis

  • Circuit layout, to achieve performance, cost and compliance goals

  • Design and implementation of circuit testing in all phases of product development life

  • VOC and Product Definition

Specialization in one or more of the following areas:

  • Sensor technology

  • Low level analog signal processing and A to D conversion and analog measurements in the presence of noise

  • PCB layout for AC signal integrity, DC signal integrity and EMC

  • Embedded firmware

  • RTOS

  • Travel (up to 10% of the time)

The salary range for this role is 71K - 120K. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
