Job Purpose: Are you ready for your next career move? Join our Global Technical Support Team and collaborate with Global Service, Marketing, Sales, Development, and other cross-functional groups, to provide product support and customer issue management for Particle Characterization and Counting systems. The position reports to the Global Technical Support Manager within the Global Service organization.
International and domestic travel is required approximately 25%.
Duties and responsibilities:
Own technical escalation of product related application issues
Own Product Line Escalations of product related application issues
Developing expert level knowledge of existing methods. Provide guidance and associate development through training and mentoring programs.
Develop creative and effective support strategies, input to customer manuals and procedures for new products
Train field based applications, call center, and customer instructors
Input to development projects as a customer advocate
Input to test design for verification of workflow
Lead and actively engage the Early Response Team process for product introductions to bias product success. Employing sound project management methods.
Ensuring all safety, quality and regulatory requirements are in compliance with standards and agencies such as: ISO, GMP and FDA
Maintain accurate and timely record keeping within a learning management system (LMS) for all personal training as well as any training delivered.
Collaborate with all partners to utilize DBS for ongoing process improvement.
May perform other related duties as required and/or assigned.
Undergraduate degree in one of the following: biology, microbiology, biochemistry. Post graduate and graduate degrees are a plus.
Minimum 5 years’ proven experience in a biotechnology organization developing, optimizing and troubleshooting Particle Counting systems and applications is helpful
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Outstanding communication (verbal and written)
Strong MS Office skills(Outlook, Word, Excel)
Demonstrated track record of achievement
Demonstrated ability in and dedication to continuous process improvement
Closure of customer issues within 21 calendar days
Answering of service support hotline calls on first attempt 85% of time
Service training satisfaction scores of 90% or higher
New product deliverables complete to plan
Customer satisfaction as measured as business aggregate including compliance.
product quality, reliability, after sale cost of support/ownership, and net promoter scores.
The salary range is 77,900 – 107,100. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus.
