Serve as Team Lead for a group of associates. Responsible for work assignments that support an effective lean operation (LO) conforming to standardized work procedures, identifying improvement opportunities and working with associates and management to solve operational work flow problems. General duties may include supporting day to day cell operations to include training, picking, assembling, and packaging. Machine set-up and equipment operation required, as well as trouble-shooting and light maintenance of equipment.

SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, 6:00a-2:30p. Overtime may be required.

TYPE OF ROLE: Onsite - Loveland, CO


  • Assist Area Manager in day to day department operations to include:

  • Train Associates on the proper use of equipment and PPE (personal protective equipment)

  • Maintain cross training matrix

  • Onboard temporary Associates

  • Assist Area Manager and Planners in prioritizing work load and equipment schedule to meet internal and external customer demand

  • Assist in directing daily work in the absence of the Area Manager

  • Provide Associate performance feedback to the Area Manager

  • Recommend overtime schedule and maintain attendance schedule

  • Act as the first responder to department issues to include tracking down parts, working with Material Planners to resolve kanban issues, troubleshooting equipment, identifying points of failure in the flow of production, developing and implementing countermeasures, escalating issues when necessary.

  • Maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and visual management tools.

  • Proactively maintain the cell to include fixtures, kits, tools, and supplies.

  • Maintain standard work including deviations, standard work changes (red lines) and updates to work instructions.

  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts in support of lean processes and problem solving teams or kaizen events.

  • Perform as a certified back-up Operator in critical cells.

  • May be required to cross-train on other equipment or other areas as needed.

  • HS diploma/GED or equivalent required.

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a production environment.

  • Possess manual dexterity and good coordination.

  • Possess basic reading, writing, and math skills (including adding, subtracting, calculating percentages, converting minutes to hours, and performing basic Algebra).

  • Possess necessary computer skills to utilize and maintain required manufacturing software systems.

  • Possess ability to resolve minor problems, recognize normal and unusual situations.

  • Ability to learn instrument or circuit board assembly (Loveland only), machine operations (Including set up and changeover), and/or kitting.

  • Some areas will require the ability to work with manual and/or power equipment.

  • Possess proven mechanical ability or aptitude.

  • Demonstrate strong multitasking skills.

  • Must be quality conscious: Accuracy and attention to detail required.

  • Must have good oral and written communication skills.

The hourly rate or salary range for this role is $19.97-$22.00. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado.

This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
