Danaher Corporation Account Manager Bioresearch Nordics in Lund, Sweden
Job Overview:
The Account Manager Bioresearch Nordics is responsible to promote the Bioresearch product range and manage a sales territory across Denmark, Sweden and Iceland. She/he is in charge of achieving regional sales target within budget constraints to contribute to the overall corporate sales growth and strategic objectives. He/she will reach objectives by establishing professional relationships with customer accounts, by applying locally the European Sales Tactics and using a rigorous Time & Territory Management Plan.
This job opportunity is available remotely across Denmark or in Sweden (with ability to commute to Denmark).
Responsibilities:
Achieve annual and monthly Sales targets in designated territory while remaining within the established expense budget and providing customer satisfaction
Develop and maintain accurate Territory Plan
Identify, qualify, develop, support and close sales of the Molecular Devices system portfolio (Plate readers, associated software and liquid handling products)
Provide monthly revenue and product forecasting, quarterly plans of action, status, and expense reports
Prepare and present basic product demonstrations and training to existing and potential customers
Maintain a high level of technical and application competence of Molecular Devices products
Monitor competitor’s activities, products, and potential new or improved applications or product extensions
Develop, update and maintain to a high degree of accuracy and integrity, the prospect database (SFDC) and existing customer list and monitor sales growth
Close liaison with the rest of the team to ensure seamless customer support from initial interest to post-sales support
Participate to programmed funnel reviews and marketing reviews when requested
Evaluate effectiveness of Molecular Devices’ marketing programs
Attend trade shows, seminars and workshops as well as maintaining customer contacts to develop and improve sales skills
Takes responsibility for own personal development and knowing about the market and competition
Requirements:
University degree in Life Science Technology with a (molecular) biology background or equivalent
At least 2 years sales experience in relevant field. Must be able to demonstrate ability to achieve targets consistently
Demonstrable success in direct sales of capital equipment to pharmaceutical, biotechnology, academic and government research laboratory customers
Strong working knowledge of MS Office and Salesforce.com
Danish and/or Swedish mother tongue, must have a high level of written and spoken English
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in areas of negotiation, persuasion, research & problem solving
Ability to work with a high degree of independence
Positive and energetic aptitude, enthusiasm and strong will to succeed
