We are currently seeking a Senior Field Service Engineer who will be responsible for the repair, installation, and maintenance of Beckman Coulter equipment at customer sites.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Customer satisfaction in all aspects of the job - increased throughput, decreased downtime, regular preventive maintenance, regular upgrades as deemed by the Beckman Coulter technical staff.

  • Handling customer concerns. The ability to identify, own, and supervise any issues with an account, while being a clear advocate for the customer and a steward for the company.

  • Driving a sense of urgency to ensure customer needs are addressed promptly and with an emphasis on a “first time fix.”

  • Effectively pricing and positioning service agreements on both existing and new equipment.

  • Assuming accountability around daily management and monthly KPI’s.

  • Leading by example to develop a robust continuous improvement culture.

  • Partnering with sales to support current sales initiatives that drive growth.

    The required qualifications for the job include:

  • Associates degree (mechanical, electrical, chemical, or biological), technical degree, or military equivalent with 3+ years of experience.

  • Holding a current valid driver’s license and good driving record over the last three years. Associates who drive Beckman Coulter vehicles will follow the Danaher Company Vehicle Policy.

  • The ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

    It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Automation, centrifuges, and/or particle counting and characterization.

  • Computer literacy (especially Excel, Oracle, Sales Force, and/or Pro Service).

  • Managing a customer account in its entirety and determining where we can add more value by offering other services (reagents, consumables, additional or new equipment leads, service on non‐agreement instruments, etc.).
