This position is part of Global Operations located in Fargo, ND or Madison, WI and will be Onsite. At Aldevron, we combine best-in-class products and service with the ideal operating environment to lay the groundwork for vital new discoveries worldwide. You will be a part of the Operations Department and report to the President of Aldevron. The VP, Global Operations and Supply Chain will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of the company's Research Grade through GMP operations, supply chain management, technical operations, facilities, and environmental health and safety (EHS) on a global scale. The successful candidate will oversee a team of direct and indirect associates (400+) and will work toward optimizing team performance to drive operational efficiency, ensuring product quality and compliance to regulations, and maximizing client satisfaction.

Relocation for the position will be offered for eligible candidates.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive global strategy for manufacturing, technical operations, supply chain and EHS that align with the company's objectives and long-term vision.

  • Provide strategic guidance and leadership to regional operations leaders and teams, ensuring consistent practices and efficient operations across all locations. Collaborate with senior leadership team to establish and execute global strategies that support business growth and profitability.

  • Set strategic goals for operational efficiency and increased productivity while providing clear direction and vision to inspire and empower staff to achieve excellence.

  • Responsible for establishing KPI’s and global performance in terms of quality, on-time delivery, inventory, and operational P&L while collaborating globally and cross-functionally to accomplish business objectives.

  • Lead adoption of the Danaher Business Systems (DBS) throughout the departments to improve operational efficiency and product quality.

  • Oversee the management and maintenance of all company facilities, including real estate, office spaces, manufacturing sites, and distribution centers

  • Communicates effectively key strategies, decisions, operational challenges and countermeasures effectively up and across the organization.

  • Lead and manage a team of professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Partner with HR to identify strategies to develop, promote and retain key talent in the organization through engagement, communication, change and performance management initiatives.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related fields with long standing experience. Experience must include Manufacturing, Global Supply Chain, and operating in an FDA/ISO or GMP environment.

  • Extensive experience in senior leadership roles overseeing global operations, supply chain management, technical operations + EHS.

  • Proven leader in multi-discipline, multi-site operations and ability to lead an organization through ground-breaking change.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Prior experience in a DBS, Lean or Six Sigma Culture. Detailed understanding of Lean manufacturing tools and concepts along with a proven track record for lean implementations and documented resulting success.

  • Proven track record to work cross-functionally and within matrix to achieve business outcomes and ability to travel up to 40%.

  • Previous experience in CDMO is a plus.
