Danaher Corporation Digital Pathology Sales Specialist F/M in Madrid, Spain

Your mission will be:

To effectively lead the growth of the regional Digital Pathology business. To drive revenue and market share gains in the region. Ensure the development of clear strategies. Own and lead the regional sales activity to win business from new accounts and existing Leica customers . The candidate will have previous experience in the Healthcare IT environment and a proven track record in complex, multi-stakeholder sales.

In this position you will have the opportunity to:

  • Execute the regional Digital Pathology business strategy Own and manage at the regional level the Digital Pathology sales opportunities.

  • Partner continuously with Sales Enablement Manager, Regional Sales and EMEA Digital Pathology & Workflow Team to ensure consistent above-market growth.

  • Engage all stakeholder, including Pathologist, Lab mangers, IT Managers and procurement through the sales cycle, from qualification to close.

  • Grow the funnel through lead generation and opportunities prioritization.

  • Follow funnel management standard work.

  • Own the tender and quotation process.

  • Lead demos of digital pathology solutions.

  • Deliver post sales training.

This role will involve frequent travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Required skills:

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

  • Scientific university degree

  • Sales background with experience on delivering revenue growth and market share gains in the field of Healthcare IT sales

  • Evidence of strong influencing and collaboration skills

  • Strong commercial awareness: understanding of capital sales, rental reagent sales and leasing agreements

  • Healthcare industry: knowledge of technologies, products, processes and selling/purchasing with the hospital environment, competitor and market awareness, especially in the field of Immunohistochemistry.

  • Financial acumen: budgets, forecasting, providing quotations, responding to tenders and managing priorities to meet revenue targets.

  • Extensive understanding of LIS, HIS, PACS and other hospital and laboratory information systems.

  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix structure and be accountable for delivering business results

  • English and Spanish required. Portuguese will be a plus
