The Field Service Engineer for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible to conduct service, repair and/or install products at customer site in accordance with maintenance contracts. S/he will ensure the diagnoses system failures and will provide the most efficient solution.
This position is part of the Service team, will report to the Supervisor Field Technical Service and be located in Madrid and will be fully remote. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Develop and build knowledge to understand the industry, the company, the products, tools, and the team. This is supported with a clear Development Pathway program as part our culture to develop and grow our teams
Complete troubleshooting, installation, validation, preventative maintenance, modifications and repairs on Beckman Coulter equipment
Support laboratory systems in the field of clinical diagnostics and automation. You'll partner with the customer not only on technical issues, but how to maximize the instrument's usage.
Develop your project management skills in the context of installation projects
Provide excellent and efficient support to Beckman Coulter’s customers, along with technical training
Maintain customer support logs and internal records in a timely manner, ordering parts and adhering to cycle times.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Related technical degree (biomedical, instrumentation or electrical engineering preferred) or validated equivalent experience. Ability to travel and provide support in assigned geography, as well as periodic travel to other areas and overnight travel.
Spanish and fluent in English
Good IT knowledge - familiar with IT infrastructure: enjoy setting up and managing networks, servers, firewalls, interfaces
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotics, and/or electronic medical
