Your Challenge

As Service Engineer at Videojet Technologies you play a vital role in supporting our Customers and ensuring that our ‘Up Time Peace of Mind’ goal is achieved. After a robust training to learn about our products, you are responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing a range of Videojet's Printing Devices. You resolve potential issues remotely and onsite provide physical support to the devices. With an office based technical support team, the Service Engineer is never ‘on their own’!

The Service Engineer is someone who has a passion for success — with a drive to complete a job to the highest standards. Managing expectations is crucial so having strong interpersonal skills is key when taking care of Customers. Our Service Engineers are open to developing and being challenged, thrives under pressure and continually seek to improve. The ideal candidate must be team orientated while remaining versatile, open minded and able to work autonomously.

Your responsibilities as a Service Engineer at Videojet, include: (Training will be provided as needed so that you are able to):

  • Install and commission new Videojet solutions

  • Maintain and Service Videojet’s customers base of Videojet equipment

  • Work closely with sales to support Videojet trials and demonstrations

  • Maintain and grow customer relationships through excellent customer service and communication.

  • Proficient use of service IT systems to accurately record and report information

  • Support Regional Revenue targets by promoting service contracts and additional services to customers

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience repairing similar devices in manufacturing and production lines

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A bachelor degree or equivalent professional qualifications in Engineering would be a plus

  • Experience installing, servicing, repairing coding and marking equipment
