Position : Assistant Document Controller
Location : Pune, India

Summary of the Role
To manage all technical documentation flow of the engineering, project management, procurement in order to ensure documents control within Company standards and common engineering / project execution practices.

Specific Responsibilities that you would own:
Assist document controller to receive and issue documents under transmittal, internally and externally according to document/drawing distribution matrix.
Assist document controller by ensuring engineering documents are checked and submitted on time prior to the document’s submission due date.
Assist document controller by ensuring that all documents have no errors in filenames, revisions, submissions, etc. before submitting it to the recipient department/party to avoid confusion.
Assist with ensuring that controlled copies of latest approved documents and drawings are given to the appropriate staff, client and suppliers as applicable.
Assist with maintenance of the MCDR (Master Contract Document Register) for each project.
Assist document controller with upkeep of all documentation between the engineering dept, projects dept, suppliers and consultants/customer.
Assist document controller with allocation of document numbers to incoming documentation from suppliers.
Assist in the maintenance of records of all approved documents and drawings in the Document Archive and the File Server through easy traceability.
Assist with maintenance of files and control logs as required by the project procedures.
Basic knowledge about ISO 9001 quality system.
Diploma in Computer Science is desirable
Multitasking: Different projects on the same time.
Excel knowledge: Medium as minimum
High Level of attention on numbering and Data register.
Keep Records Updated and accurate.
Minimum to no assistance for main duty.
Position Competencies (must haves for the position) :
Proficiency in MS Office and document creation tools like MS Office – Word, Excel & PowerPoint, Outlook.
Basic knowledge about ISO 9001 quality system
Attention to detail
Knowledge General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR)
Fluency in English Language: Writing, Reading and Speaking.
