• This position requires managing, controlling and leading our standard projects but also building a supplier network together with the Supply Chain and Quality department. This will always involve ensuring project objectives are met and monitored in terms of deadlines, quality and cost/pricing.

• Ability to design filtration systems or equivalent on the assigned projects to meet customers expectations in product design and project execution quality.

• Ability to read and understand all related technical documents and ability to check the technical documents created by others.

• Ability to manage Engineering changes that may come up during the course of the project including all related information and communication / agreements w/r to cost/time impacts.

• Detailed understanding of filtration separation and purification technologies used in the processing (Direct flow filtration, cross flow filtration, stabilization).

• Knowledge and understanding of the current industry guidelines for designing, manufacturing, testing and documenting food and beverage process equipment.

• Responsible for the detailed technical process clarification (technology selection, sizing, design testing etc.) on requested equipment, including to take on the responsibility and ownership for the proposed equipment solution during project.

• Technical elaboration of detail design (including functional specification as a base for the process coding, define and creation of instrument, valve, components and fitting lists etc.).

• Responsible for providing technical input in critical questions to the other team members while acting as a coach/trainer.

• After Order placement execute the proposed engineered system solution based on agreed and defined contractual specification together with a defined project team as project manager.

• As a technical expert/coach, the Mechanical Project Engineer shall act as a point of contact within the team to develop the organization by coaching both internal and external partners on their daily work and critical technical issues that require specific knowledge and experience in the field.

Qualifications/Education:

• B.E/B.Tech (Process/Chemical/Mechanical/Equivalent)

• Candidate with overall experience of 7+ yrs

• Minimum 4 years of experience of process engineering of equipment used in Food and beverage, Chemical or Biopharma industry

• Ability to design filtration systems or equivalent on the assigned projects to meet customers expectations in product design and project execution quality

• Experience of working with CAD Systems (Autodesk Inventor; Navisworks)

• Experience in qualification activities (FAT/SAT) for process equipment in the food and beverage or equivalent industry.

• Knowledge and understanding of the current industry guidelines for designing, manufacturing, testing and documenting food and beverage process equipment

• Experience of working with outside subcontractors including mechanical fabricators, electronic fabricators, Software designers and automation experts

• Good communication in skills in English and Hindi. Proficiency of Marathi and German would be an added advantage.
