SUMMARY:To lead and grow the global Scientific & Laboratory Services (SLS) comprised of application specialists, technical support and extensive customer problem solving functions.
Lead, develop and grow a global team of Application Scientists and Technical Support covering the Life Science Research, Microbiology, Analytical Chemistry and Environmental mini-markets.
Work with associated functions, such as Sales, Product Management, Marketing, R&D, and directly with customers to ensure smooth running of customer projects.
Travel to customer site or virtually to support customers with technical guidance and process expertise through analytical work, bench top trials, full-scale trials or technical meetings.
Work with Marketing on timed release of technical documentation linked to business strategy.
Grow and develop the team in different geographies based on established business needs.
Work with Application Scientists to troubleshoot customer workflows.
Prioritise sales requests for customer application support.
Plan the generation of data for and the release of customer facing documentation such as application notes, posters, oral presentations, and peer reviewed publications.
Work with NPD leader on upcoming projects requiring customer beta trials.
Build network of strategic customers in Life Science Research and Microbiology markets and academia for future teamwork on product testing and research.
BSc, MSc or PhD in Life Sciences.Experience in Life Science Research, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry or similar workflows.Demonstrate initiative and seek continuous improvement.Understanding of competitor products and Pall products differentiation.Confirmed commercial leadership experience in a related customer facing role.
