This role is responsible for supporting the development and deployment of internal communications for Global Supply Chain. This function consists of global manufacturing, a global logistics network, as well as several Centers of Excellence. The person in the role will drive strategic communications priorities aligned to the global and commercial strategies. Besides thinking strategically, this person can produce assets in both written and multimedia form. With a stakeholder audience that is not online, strong skills in engaging people with personal communications will be well-suited to perform well in this role.

What you’ll do

  • Work with the Cytiva Supply Chain and Operations business teams to create and execute a communications strategy, reaching majority internal audiences, using innovative channels and technology to reach those audiences

  • Work closely with Communications leadership and the Brand team to create coordinated (and connected) communications plans and content.

  • Establish and maintain collaborative and effective relationships with stakeholders, across different functions and in different geographies of Cytiva.

  • Establish and maintain collaborative and effective relationships with stakeholders outside of Cytiva, who are instrumental in our Supply Chain and Operations businesses

  • Own particular communications projects; lead crisis and issues communication for the Supply Chain and Operations businesses

  • Leverage digital and physical on-site channels to amplify storytelling and measure outcomes and effectiveness of targeting across audiences.

  • Understand the Cytiva strategy and demonstrate new and engaging communications tactics to accomplish the team goals

  • Assemble and deliver evaluations of metrics on communications activities to demonstrate the effectiveness of communications to the wider business

  • Who you are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, English, Marketing, or a related field and eight or more years communications experience

  • Excellent verbal, written, and visual communications skills in English, storytelling ability in pictures and words

  • Interest in working in large multi-stakeholder organization

  • Dynamic, results focused and able to juggle priorities while building and maintaining trust and respect both within and outside the business; consistently delivering high quality results

  • Strong executive presence and the ability to offer communications counsel at leadership level

  • Able to clearly communicate complex information in an easy-to-understand manner

  • Proven crisis communications experience

  • Proven experience of delivering effective campaigns internally or in PR

  • Clear interest and understanding of current affairs, politics and public opinion and the ability to gauge the effects of these on present and future business plans

  • Integrity: accepting and adhering to high ethical, moral, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions, and when dealing with others

  • Preferred: Experience working in the healthcare, technology or related industries

  • Optional: Other European languages
