We are looking for a Enterprise Solution Automation Engineer to work with our experts in Cell and Gene Therapy and Bioprocess enterprise teams. We have developed a cloud-based Manufacturing Execution System to run cutting edge biological factories. This software already helps our customers deliver incredible new treatments to cure cancer and fight many other devastating diseases.
What you’ll do
The Enterprise Solution Automation Engineer will lead the implementation efforts of our Chronicle platform for our Enterprise customers globally. You will be the primarily automation lead on enterprise projects collaborating with other key functional leads to ensure proper scoping, implementation and turnover of enterprise projects.
Work very closely with the internal Enterprise delivery team, taking a role in driving automation design and documentation requirements for our enterprise deals with customers in cell and gene therapy.
Work closely with product management and R&D teams to ensure hardware and software changes for standard product are reflected in the enterprise documentation and projects
Create and maintain standard documentation packages including Automation User Requirements, Specifications; General Specifications; Functional specs; Design specs; Test documents etc.
Contribute to validation and verification process, demonstrating full traceability from user requirements through to QA. Ensure we follow industry standard methodologies and fully align with our Quality Management System.
Perform the detailed design for projects by converting engineering and system design into drawings, control panel designs, and installation details consistent with the specification and functional descriptions
Interface with clients, vendors, and internal teams to coordinate project schedules and plans

Establish test plans to determine compliance with functional and design requirements
Establish methods and processes to deploy, install, and configure customer specific control and network strategies
Resolve technical questions and concerns through interaction with customers, vendors and internal personnel
Help develop and extend automation processes in QA including investigating new ways to automate routine testing and analyze test results
Generate detailed requirements for automation projects, both internally and with external customers, for assigned projects.
Help develop a robust approach to performance and load testing.
Communicate and collaborate both locally and globally both with internal and external stakeholders.
Provide input to Increase competitiveness of the Enterprise Automation Solution offering, based on input from customers during project execution.
Who you are
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related STEM Major5+ years of process automation experience
Experience developing hardware and software solutions for industrial and/or embedded control applications
Knowledge of object orientated languages (e.g. C++, C#, Python)
Basic knowledge of communications networking (e.g. Ethernet, Profibus)
Familiar with AutoCAD Electrical or similar CAD programs
Windows OS Setup, Switch Setup Experience, Firewall Setup Experience,
Experience with software version control tools
Ability to analyze and solve problems
Effective oral and written communication skills
Strong manufacturing and engineering knowledge including quality and regulatory understanding (preferable)
Knowledge of governing regulations, specifically 21 CFR part 11 and Eudralex Volume 4 Annex 11
Demonstrated technical leadership capability in integration activities
Self-starter, energizing, results oriented and able to multi-task
Excellent teamwork, coordination and communication skills
Ability to meet aggressive reliability, performance, cost, serviceability, and delivery targets
Excellent client relationships and management experience at the senior customer level
Excellent oral and written communications skills.
Team oriented – ability to motivate and work well with diverse, cross-functional teams
Strong project management skills, attention to detail and ability to work effectively within a matrix environment
