Apply experience in advanced instrumentation to lead identification and technical readiness assessment of process development tools. Bring 'how' to 'what', use understanding of instrument design and manufacturing to help meet the needs of end users and the business. Provide guidance for functional and design specifications across developments, work with partner and internal development teams to shape product design toward an integrated platform. Support due diligence efforts and apply understanding of technical requirements to craft agreements and partnerships. Follow technical trends within the industry, work within the program and across related Cytiva businesses to identify new opportunities and enhance business ventures. Apply Danaher Business Systems (DBS) continuous improvement tools across all functions to assist problem solving, alignment, speed to market, and overall efficacy. Travel: as needed; 20%
Who you are
BS/MS Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical specialty
Minimum of ten (10) years meaningful experience with instrumentation development, both software and hardware, integration/IoT/automation experience preferred
Experience working within regulated environments, understanding of the requirements, challenges and opportunities presented by the FDA and other health agency regulations
Understanding of holistic instrument design including electrical systems, mechanical systems, computing, control, firmware, user software, enclosures, manufacturing, and lifecycle management
Accomplished communicator, able to advise and influence senior level management, other technical specialists, and partners at all levels
Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, consistent track record of critical thinking, technical insight and execution for results
Completer/finisher mentality, creative and intellectually curious with a strong work ethic; able to accelerate delivery of solutions in a fast-growing environment
