We have an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Business Analyst to join the team in either our Switzerland office or our UK office! Within this role you will be mainly working from home, however will be encouraged to travel worldwide 25% (this is around 1 week per month Monday - Friday).

Summary purpose of the position:

The position will provide support to all Supply Chain teams globally by redefining Supply Chain raw database into reliable, accurate, and timely information to make data-driven decisions. The person in the role is encouraged to use his/her analytical skills in database management and reporting tools to help the Supply Chain team to improve all global, regional, and local performance indicators.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand, define, and document Supply Chain data/analytics needs

Work with the data and provide analytics access to the team by:

  • Establishing important KPI measurements

  • Developing custom reporting & dashboards using Power BI, Excel & other platforms

  • Support the design, implementation, and management of information reporting systems

  • Investigating problems, finding root causes, and suggesting solutions

  • Ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required to support Supply Chain & Operations

  • Develop Standard work and tools to support Distribution Centres, Plants, Planners and Core Value Drivers with focus on different areas such as:

  • AoS health tracking and Planning Strategy Design tool

  • RAW replenishment

  • Lead Time analysis

Position proficiencies:

  • Proven success and at least 5 years’ experience in a Supply Chain / Planning / Distribution role with a focus on analytical modelling, critical reasoning, quantitative and process analysis

  • Good understanding of ERP systems (ideally SAP) and operations solutions (MM, PP, WM & SD)

  • Highly analytical with the ability to transform data into significant insights.

  • Good knowledge of reporting tools/data discovery tools, use of Qlikview, Power BI and Power Pivot an advantage

  • Sophisticated MS Excel skills

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and changing priorities

Language skills

  • Proficiency in English required
