This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Global Product Manager (GPM), Strategic Services to drive innovation initiatives in the Services department focused on data and software development, IoT, XaaS, and other Service transformations! The GPM helps identify and assess top service initiatives to pursue, develops strategies for commercialization, and launches these Services. This role will work collaboratively with other Service groups, Marketing, Sales, R&D, and the Digital Solutions team. A successful GPM is comfortable working in new, developing environments that will fundamentally transform the way Hach does business.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
Responsible for driving the viability of new Service offerings that can grow the Service portfolio
Rigorously analyze portfolio performance, including durability, revenue, profitability, volume, price, and quality and convert analysis into insights, strategy, and action as initiatives grow
Lead competitive research analysis, identify opportunities and threats and develop and execute tactics accordingly by leveraging the rest of the commercial organization
Actively participate in Voice of Customer (VOC) research to ensure short-term and long-term commercial success of the current product portfolio and to capture and prioritize future services
Actively support existing innovation initiatives by crafting durability, growth, and profitability
Support development of the Service Innovation team by use of data visualization, KPI tracking, and performance forecasting
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field required; MBA or other advanced degree strongly preferred
2+ years of Technical Product Management experience
Experience working in software development, cloud, SaaS, IoT, and ARR models
Experience using data to solve business problems
Able to travel up to 25%
Familiarity with full product life cycle management
Experience with client/server technologies
Experience defining vision and strategies for technical products
The salary range for this role is 95K - 120K. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
