The Facilities Specialist II for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for providing project coordination and services related to facilities projects of varying complexity, to include renovations, maintenance projects and preparation of design documents, specification, and estimates. Will also act as a Team Lead & provide direction to the facilities technicians.
This position is an integral part of the Facilities Organization located in Miami, Fl. and will be an onsite role. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.
You will report to the Facilities Manager responsible for managing & coordinating all facilities related functions such as maintenance, custodial services, mail services in Kendall and Hialeah. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Utilize strong leadership, analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
Take ownership of the Facilities Daily Management tools.
Manage the coordination and completion of approved Facilities capital projects
Build and maintains a team culture of Kaizen that improves the office and manufacturing environment from a standpoint of safety, efficiency, hygiene, sustainability.
Actively support EHS initiatives and champions 5-S and Safety for the site
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelors degree with 2+ years of experience in driving and managing projects.
Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Machine Control, EMS/BMS, Preventive Maintenance, Energy & Sustainability, and Building Management applications and systems.
Proven working understanding of Microsoft Office
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience and/or certifications in:
HVAC/Plumbing
Electrical
Project Management Professional (PMP)
