Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Conducts feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs.
Applies research and principles of engineering to the planning, design, development, documentation, and testing.
Debugging of a variety of instruments, equipment, systems and/or software.
Evaluates instrument systems, products, components, and applications as part of research and new product development teams while applying knowledge of biomedical devices and systems integration.
Work independently and effectively as part of a team, exhibiting effective interpersonal skills.
Demonstrate sound technical ability and decision making to achieve the desired results.
Establish and cultivate relationships both internally and externally through strong communication methods (written and verbal).
Participate in Daily Management activities and quickly adapt to changing priorities
Currently enrolled in a BS Mechanical, Electrical or Biomedical Engineer degree, with a minimum 3 years completed.
Solid Works, Pro Engineer, Math CAD (or similar), JMP experience desired.
Computer skills, e.g., word, excel, access, Microsoft project, electronic documentation systems.
Ability to interface well with people of varied backgrounds.
Detail oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Fast learner, and able to quickly become adept at using the Danaher Business System tool set.
