You will be a part of the Hematology Business Open Innovation & Alliance Management team and report to the Senior Manager Open Innovation & Alliance Management responsible for the management of external 3rd party partnerships and the internal product development for the hematology diagnostics medical device product line. In this role, you will have the following opportunities, but are not limited to: ·
Understand and effectively engage in a wide range of functional areas including Legal, IP, Finance, Product Development, Regulatory Affairs, Operations, Sales & Marketing, and Program Management in order to develop and maintain effective Hematology partnerships and involve relevant key partners.
Leverage the Danaher Business System and Policy Deployment to drive effective cross-functional and global execution of open innovation partnerships via DBS Strategy Partner Growth (SPG) toolkit to drive new revenue growth.
Manage existing alliance partnerships working with Product Management teams, establishing and maintaining key relationships within the partner organizations through excellent communication.
Work closely with Hematology business leadership to ensure understanding and compliance with contractual obligations and with Program Management to coordinate communication. Reference and uphold contractual obligations of the partners for ongoing programs.
Has in depth knowledge of and maintains an ongoing familiarity with healthcare market sectors and competing products/technologies.
Understand and balance both internal and external partner needs and perspectives while engaged in partnership discussions.
Provide coaching to internal stakeholders on partner concerns and perspectives to achieve alignment.
Participate and lead core team partnership project actions and resolve problems or conflicts escalated to the core team.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor’s degree in Life Science, Engineering, Medical Device business management or a related field with 9 plus years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree with 7 years of relevant experience
Work experience should include 3-5 years in in clinical diagnostics, ideally in hematology or flow cytometry including technologies, applications, and markets.
Incumbent must have proven ability to see new business opportunities, set and meet aggressive objectives and develop strong working relationships across all levels of the organization, including proven influencing skills.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage team by influence in a matrix organization
Fast learner able to quickly become adept at using the Danaher Business System tools
