The Program Manager for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for leading Urinalysis platform programs.

This position is located in Miami, FL and will be Hybrid (three days onsite). At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

You will be a part of the Urinalysis Business Program Management team and responsible for managing all aspects of a large-scale Urinalysis platform product line including providing strategic and tactical direction, guidance and support to their project teams, program management team and business partners. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Manage mid- to large-scale programs through core team functional representatives and their extended teams.

  • Direct core team project actions and resolve problems or conflicts escalated to the core team.

  • Make or facilitate project trade-off decisions within the boundaries of the business approved project contract.

  • Accountable to the business leadership team for the success of the program

  • Responsible for achievement of QCD (quality, cost, delivery) metrics for their programs

  • Identify and drive optimizations or countermeasures when project is delayed or exceeding resources.

    The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Science, Engineering, Medical Device business management or related field with preference for 7+ years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree with preference for 5+ years of relevant experience or a PhD degree with preference for 5+ years of relevant experience

  • Prefer 2+ years in program or project management leading cross-functional teams.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams by influence in a matrix organization.

  • Fast learner able to quickly become adept at using the Danaher Business System tools.

  • Understands product development, design controls, and builds partnerships between disciplines and cultures to accomplish common project goals.

    It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar certificate

  • ISO and FDA regulated medical device environment experience is highly recommended
